“Under the Kayon tree” is a musical performance using elements of theatre and dance to share well-loved Malaysian legends and stories. These stories are our adaptations of the legends of Parameswara, Hang Tuah, Hang Li Po and Mahsuri. As one of the main activities in SEAMEX 2017, ASEAN YOUTH CHOIR invites submission of choral scores for performance and possibly live recordings. Composers must be nationals or residents of the ASEAN region, and each composer can submit only a maximum of TWO pieces. There are no age restrictions.
