Congratulations to the finalists of Free Hand 2022 set for this June 25th!



In June will be the second time the Free Hand festival will take place, after the highly successful Free Hand 2019. This round an all-new list of Malaysian composers, both young and established, will show their various styles in piano writing. Come and listen to their works this June 28th at UCSI University, Kuala Lumpur!

Free Hand Festival is a collaboration between the Malaysian Composers Collective and UCSI University to offer a platform for local composers to write new music for the piano.

During the festival, two composers will be selected to receive a commission to write a new piano work which will be the set piece for Senior and Young Artist Categories for the UCSI University International Piano Festival & Competition in 2022.
